Ferdi Elmas (born 13 February 1985) is a Turkish former professional association football, footballer who played as a Midfielder#Winger, winger. Club career Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Elmas played for AFC Ajax, Ajax for over nine years in his youth, having come through the ranks of the club's elite Youth Team. He continued his career in Dutch Association football, football after transferring to RKC Waalwijk. In 2004, he moved to Çaykur Rizespor, before completing a loan switch to Ankaraspor. Ferdi Erenay Kadıoğlu (; born 7 October 1999) is a professional footballer who plays as a full back, midfielder or winger for club Brighton & Hove Albion. Born in the Netherlands, he plays for the Turkey national team. Ferdi Özbeğen (19 August 1941 – 28 January 2013) was a Turkish singer of folk and popular music. Early life and education Ferdi Özbeğen was born on 17 August 1941, in İzmir. His father was Hassan Özbeğen, an immigrant from Crete, and his mother Afet "Anita" Özbeğen, a Catholic Armenian from Ankara. Their son's name was originally "Ferdinand." At some point, the family moved to Istanbul, where young Ferdi enrolled for his secondary education into the Mıhitaryan School. Ferdi Sabit Soyer (; born March 5, 1952) is a former Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and former Leader of Republican Turkish Party (CTP). Soyer, a former union leader, has been a member of the TRNC parliament since 1985 (except for a three-year absence between 1990 and 1993). He was named successor to Talat's former post of TRNC Prime Minister on April 25, 2005. Soyer was born in Nicosia in 1952, attending secondary school in Cyprus, then continued towards a degree in medicine from Turkey. However, due to political reasons he did not complete his university education. Ferdi Tayfur (; born Ferdi Tayfur Turanbayburt; 15 November 1945 – 2 January 2025) was a Turkish singer, actor, director, songwriter and screenwriter. He was born in the Taşçı neighbourhood of Adana and led a successful career in Arabesque music. Ferdi Zeyrek (16 March 1977 – 9 June 2025; ) was a Turkish architect and politician. He served as the mayor of Manisa between 2024 and 2025. Early life, education and career Zeyrek was born in Manisa on 16 March 1977.
