Feng River (Guangdong)
The Feng River () is located in the southeast of Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China. It is a tributary of the Rong River. The upper part of the Feng River is also called Xishan Creek (). It originates from Beacon Hill () at the junction of Chaozhou City, Jieyang City and Meizhou City, and flows from the northwest to southeast through Dengtang Town, turns southwest at Guxiang Town, and passes through Fengxi District and Fengtang Town of Chaozhou City, Yujiao Town, Denggang Town, Yunlu Town and other places of Jieyang City, and finally flows into the Rongjiang North River in Paotai Town in the south of Jieyang City. The river is 71 kilometers long, with a basin area of 664 square kilometers and an average annual runoff of 229 million cubic meters. Rong River (Guangdong)
The Rong River, (Chinese: 榕江, tr. Róngjiāng) commonly referred to as the South River (南河, tr. nánhé), formerly known as the Jieyang River (揭阳江, tr. jiēyángjiāng) is located in Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China and is the second longest river on the eastern coast of Guangdong. It is named for the many Banyan trees (róngshù) in the city of Jieyang. It rises in the southern foothills of Phoenix Mountain in Luhe County and flows northeast through the towns of Dongkeng and Shuichun, in Jiexi County the towns of Wuyun, Hepo, Daxi, and Qiankeng, in Puning the town of Lihu, then again in Jiexi the towns of Mianhu and Fengjiang, Jieyang city, and finally empties into the South China Sea at Shantou. Chaozhou City
Chaozhou ( zh, t=潮州), alternatively Chiuchow, Chaochow or Teochew, is a city in the eastern Guangdong province of China.
