Fenerbahçe Swimming is the men's and women's Swimming (sport), swimming department of Fenerbahçe S.K., a major sports club in Istanbul, Turkey. Homeground and training place are the club's own Fenerbahçe S.K.#Other facilities, Dereağzı Facilities. The swimming branch, which had shown success from time to time from the 1910s to the 1960s, became history in 1964. Fenerbahçe Swimming Branch, which was established permanently in 1997 after short-term activities, ended the dominance of Galatasaray (men's swimming team), Galatasaray and Istanbul Swimming Specialization Club, and became the club that won the Turkish championship in the Turkish Inter-Club Swimming Championship a total of 24 times, 31 times for men and 39 times for women as of 2023, and became the club that won the most Turkish championships. Serkan Atasay
Serhiy Anatoliyevich Serhieiev (also ''Serkan Atasay'', ; born March 11, 1970) is a Ukrainian-born Turkish swimmer, who specialized in butterfly and individual medley events. He is a three-time Olympian (1996, 2004, and 2008), a multiple-time Ukrainian champion, and a five-time Turkish record holder. He is also a member of Fenerbahçe Swimming. Atasay's Olympic debut came as a member of the Ukrainian team at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta. At that event he placed 23rd in the 200m individual medley with a time of 2:06.30. Eight years later, Atasay qualified again for the 200m individual medley by clearing a FINA B-cut of 2:03.01 at the Ukrainian Open Championships in Kyiv. Swimming in heat four, he edged out Barbados' Bradley Ally to take a third spot and 22nd overall by 0.03 of a second in 2:03.26. Kuzey Tunçelli
Kuzey Tunçelli (born 30 August 2007) is a Turkish competitive swimmer. He holds both World Junior Records in long course and short course 1500-meter freestyle events. Tunçelli became both the Junior European and European champion in the 1500-meter freestyle in 2024 and the first Turkish swimmer ever to reach finals in the history of the Olympics, finishing 5th and breaking his own long course World Junior Record at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Halime Zülal Zeren (born April 15, 1995) is a Turkish female swimmer competing in freestyle and backstroke events. She is tall at . Zeren holds national records in various disciplines and age categories. She swims for Fenerbahçe Swimming. Currently, Zeren is a student at Ohio State University, having previously swam at Işık High School in Istanbul. Merve Terzioğlu
Merve Terzioğlu (24 February 1987 – 7 April 2008) was a Turkish swimmer in the sports club Galatasaray the latest and before that (2002–2006) in Fenerbahçe, both teams in leading positions nationally in Turkey. She was the holder of two national records and was Balkan champions and had obtained a third place in the COMEN Cup Swimming Competition of Mediterranean countries. Jasmin Rosenberger (; born October 16, 1985) is a Turkish female swimmer competing in the butterfly events. She is a member of Fenerbahçe Swimming in Istanbul. In Germany, she swims for SV Wacker Burghausen, Erster Münchner SC and SG Essen. Her identical twin sister Iris is also a swimmer. The twins were born to German father Peter Rosenberger and Turkish mother Leyla Aktaş-Rosenberger, a painter, ceramic artist and sculptor, in Traunstein, Germany. They have a younger sister Deniz, who is also a swimmer. Jasmin studied law at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. Gülşah Günenç (born January 5, 1985) is a Turkish former swimmer, who specialized in butterfly events. She represented Turkey in two editions of the Olympic Games (2004 and 2008).
