Fenerbahçe S.K. (boxing)
Fenerbahçe Boxing is the men's and women's boxing department of Fenerbahçe S.K., a major sports club in Istanbul, Turkey. The boxers of Fenerbahçe use the Fenerbahçe S.K.#Other facilities, Dereağzı Facilities, belonging to the club. In boxing, which started operating in 1913, Fenerbahçe maintains the title of the team that has won the most championships in Turkey as of the 2022–23 season. Fenerbahçe boxers, who trained in the ring at the yellow-navy club's premises in Kuşdili Çayırı, Kuşdili during the Occupation of Istanbul between 1919 and 1923, won important successes in the competitions held in Taksim Square, Taksim against the athletes of the Entente States, occupation forces. Hüseyin Dündar (born 1986 in Adana, Turkey) is a Turkish martial artist competing in the boxing, kickboxing, Muay Thai and wushu disciplines. He is Turkey's first world gold medalist in Sanshou. Wushu (sport)
Wushu () (), or kung fu, is a competitive Chinese martial art. It integrates concepts and forms from various traditional and modern Chinese martial arts, including Shaolin kung fu, tai chi, and ''Wudangquan''. Muay Thai or Muaythai (, , ), sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, the Art of Eight Limbs or the Science of Eight Limbs, is a Thai martial art and full-contact combat sport that uses stand-up striking, sweeps, and various clinch fighting, clinching techniques. Kickboxing ( ) is a full-contact hybrid martial art and boxing type based on punching and kicking. Kickboxing originated in the 1950s to 1970s. Tae Bo
Tae Bo is a body fitness system that incorporates martial arts techniques, such as stances, kicks and punches as well as traditional choreography. It became popular in the 1990s. This fitness system was developed by American taekwondo and boxing practitioner Billy Blanks. Such programs use the motions of martial arts at a rapid pace designed to promote fitness. The name Tae Bo is a blend of taekwondo and boxing.
