Femke Zeedijk-Raeven
Femke Annechien Zeedijk-Raeven (; ; born 7 February 1974) is a Dutch politician of the New Social Contract (NSC) party. Early life and career Zeedijk was born in 1974 in Utrecht, and she studied mathematics at Utrecht University from 1990 to 1995, graduating with a Master of Arts degree. Between 1996 and 2013, she worked for professional services network PwC, airline KLM, an insurance company, and Rabobank. Zeedijk was an active member of the social liberal Democrats 66 (D66) party, serving as a temporary member of the Geldrop-Mierlo municipal council (Netherlands), Municipal Council in 2013. She started working the following year for ASML Holding, ASML, where she eventually became a strategic advisor. List Of New Social Contract Candidates In The 2023 Dutch General Election
For the 22 November 2023 Dutch general election, 26 electoral lists were successfully submitted, totalling 1,126 candidates. The 150 seats were awarded to party lists, with candidates over the preference threshold awarded a seat first if available and the other seats awarded based on position on the list. The preference threshold for this election was 17,388 votes (25% of the electoral threshold). One candidate would have not been elected based on position on the list, but received enough preference votes: Daniëlle Hirsch ( GroenLinks-PvdA). Replacements are also awarded based on position on the list. ''Nederlandse Omroep Stichting'' published an analysis of the top 20 candidates for the 18 lists that (sometimes) received seats in polling. 61% of these candidates were male, 38% female and 1% non-binary. The (; NOS or rarely ; ) is one of the broadcasting organisations making up the Dutch public broadcasting system. It has a special statutory obligation to make news and sports programmes for the three Dutch public television channels and the Dutch public radio services. It is funded by the Dutch government. The foundation's remit derives from the Dutch Media Act 2008, which stipulates that the NOS produce regular and frequent programming of a public service nature, including, notably, a full and impartial news service and coverage of parliamentary procedures and debates, as well as reporting on sporting and other national events. Schoof previously worked as secretary-general of the Ministry of Justice and Security from 2020 to 2024, as director-general of the General Intelligence and Security Service from 2018 to 2020, and as National Coordinator for Security and Counterterrorism from 2013 to 2018. The Schoof cabinet is the current demissionary cabinet of the Netherlands, sworn in on 2 July 2024. Led by independent politician and civil servant Dick Schoof as prime minister of the Netherlands, the cabinet was formed after the 2023 Dutch general election by the Party for Freedom (PVV), the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy (VVD), New Social Contract (NSC), and the Farmer–Citizen Movement (BBB).
