''#Female Pleasure'' is a 2018 Swiss-German documentary film directed by Swiss director Barbara Miller. The film explores female sexuality in the 21st century around the globe. Content The film argues for the liberation of female sexuality in equal, sensual relationships between the sexes in the 21st century. It accompanies five women from different cultural backgrounds who stand up against the repression of female sexuality in their cultural and religious communities. Philip Delaquis
Philip Delaquis (born 29 July 1974) is a Swiss film and theatre producer and member of the Swiss Film Academy and the European Film Academy. Biography Philip Delaquis was born on 29 July 1974 in Bern. He attended schools in Spiez and Interlaken, graduated in 1994 and worked as a newspaper photographer before enrolling at Bern's School of Design and completing film courses at FOCAL, later acquiring a lic.rer.pol. in business and media science at the University of Bern and Humboldt University of Berlin and launching a TV editorial career with the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation SRG SSR. DOK Leipzig is a documentary film festival that takes place every year in Leipzig, Germany. It is an international film festival for documentary and animated film founded in 1955 under the name "1st All-German Leipzig Festival of Cultural and Documentary Films" and was the first independent film festival in East Germany. In 1995 a separate competition for animated films was added and in 2004 a film industry program, DOK Industry, was initiated to allow a networking and contact platform for industry professionals. Me Too Movement
#MeToo is a social movement against sexual abuse, sexual harassment, and rape culture, in which people publicize their experiences of sexual abuse or sexual harassment. The phrase "Me Too" was initially used in this context on social media in 2006, on Myspace, by sexual assault survivor and activist Tarana Burke. Harvard University published a case study on Burke, called "Leading with Empathy: Tarana Burke and the Making of the Me Too Movement" (2020). The hashtag ''#MeToo'' was used starting in 2017 as a way to draw attention to the magnitude of the problem.
