Felizia Wikner Zienkiewicz
Elin Felizia Wikner-Zienkiewicz (born 17 September 1999) is a Swedish ice hockey player for Frölunda HC of the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL) and member of the Swedish national team. She has represented Sweden at the Winter Olympic Games and IIHF Women's World Championship. Playing career Wikner-Zienkiewicz was introduced to ice hockey via her older brothers, Johannes (born 1990) and Kristoffer (born 1993), who both played throughout her childhood. At age five, she began playing with the minor ice hockey department of Hanhals IF in her hometown of Kungsbacka on the western coast of Sweden. Though Hanhals IF had a team that was active in the women's Division 1, Wikner-Zienkiewicz was the only girl on the teams for her age group; the club also had a secondary women's team, and she was able to practice with that team in addition to playing with boys of her age. Kungsbacka
Kungsbacka () is a urban areas of Sweden, locality and the seat of Kungsbacka Municipality in Halland County, Sweden, with 19,057 inhabitants in 2010. It is a part of Greater Gothenburg Metropolitan Area. It is one of the most affluent parts of Sweden, in part due to its simultaneous proximity to the countryside and the large city of Gothenburg. Its mayor since 2020 is Lisa Andersson. History The first records referring to Kungsbacka as a town date from the 15th century, when it was part of Denmark. By the time it was recognised as part of Sweden (1658), the river running through the town, on which some transportation of goods took place, was almost completely overgrown and despite pleas to restore its function, this did not occur. Some trade still took place from the coast, but the town's significance as a place of naval commerce declined over the centuries. The Swedish Ice Hockey Association () in Swedish, is an association of Swedish ice hockey clubs. It was established in Stockholm on 17 November 1922 by representatives from seven clubs. Before then, organized ice hockey in Sweden had been administered by the Swedish Football Association. In 1920, Sweden became a member of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). In addition to ice hockey, SIF is also responsible for inline hockey. The association's general secretary is Tommy Boustedt.
