Felipe Saad
Felipe Patavino Saad (born 11 September 1983), known as Felipe Saad, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a defender. Whilst at Guingamp, then in Ligue 2, Saad played in the 2009 Coupe de France final in which they beat Rennes. Career In July 2015, Saad joined Strasbourg from Caen, signing a two-year contract. In July 2019, Saad joined Ligue 2 side Paris FC from league rivals Lorient. He had been facing new competition at Lorient with the arrivals of defenders Julien Laporte and Thomas Fontaine for the 2019–20 season. In summer 2020, after being released by Paris FC, Saad retired from playing and took up a position at former club Caen as "recruiter" while also working as a consultant for RMC. Beside that, he was also hired as a scout for his former club, Caen. A year later, he was hired by as a translator. In March 2022, he got a new role at Marseille, as technical coordinator. The Coupe de France, formerly known as the Coupe Charles Simon, is the premier knockout cup competition in French football organized by the French Football Federation (FFF). It was first held in 1917 and is open to all amateur and professional football clubs in France, including clubs based in the overseas departments and territories. Between 1917 and 1919, the competition was called the Coupe Charles Simon, in tribute of Charles Simon, a French sportsman and the founder of the French Interfederal Committee (the ancestor of the French Football Federation), who died in 1915 while serving in World War I. Taça Rio, or Rio Trophy, is an annual Rio de Janeiro football tournament. It is the second stage competition of the Campeonato Carioca, the state football championship in Rio de Janeiro. It has been organized since 1982 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. Vasco da Gama is the most successful club in the tournament's history, having won the title eleven times. The Taça Guanabara, or Guanabara Cup, is a football tournament organized annually since 1965 by the Rio de Janeiro State Football Federation. In its first four editions (1965, 1966, 1967 and 1968), the Taça Guanabara was a tournament in its own right, unrelated to the Rio de Janeiro league, and the winner would represent Rio de Janeiro in the Taça Brasil de Futebol national league competition. From 1969 onward, the cup became the first round of the Rio de Janeiro state league. The 2006 edition of the Campeonato Carioca kicked off on January 14 and ended on April 9, 2006. The Campeonato Baiano is the football league of the state of Bahia, Brazil. The championship has been played since 1905 without interruption. 2020 format First stage: 10 teams are included in one group, playing once only against all teams in the group. The four best teams qualify to the semifinals, while the last-placed team is relegated to the Second Level. Final stage The four best teams play in a two-legged knockout tie, with the first facing the fourth and the second facing the third placed.
