Feignies Aulnoye FC
Entente Feignies Aulnoye Football Club is a football club based in Feignies, France. Founded in 1951 as Sporting Club de Feignies, the club plays in the National 2, the fourth tier in the French football league system, after winning promotion in the 2022–23 Championnat National 3 season. History Sporting Club de Feignies was founded in 1951. Feignies had a run of promotions in the first decade of the 21st century. As recently as 1999, they were playing in regional divisions at the ninth tier of French football, rising to the fourth tier of the French leagues, the Championnat de France Amateurs in 2005, where they played one season. In the summer of 2016 SC Feignies merged with neighbouring side AS Aulnoye-Aymeries, who were relegated from CFA 2 at the end of the 2015–16 season, to form the current club. The Stade du Hainaut is a multi-use stadium in Valenciennes, France. It is used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and hosts the home matches of Valenciennes FC. It has replaced the Stade Nungesser as VAFC's home stadium. The stadium has a capacity of 25,172 spectators for football matches, but its capacity can be extended to 35,000 for concerts. The 2021–22 Coupe de France was the 105th season of the main football cup competition of France. The competition was organised by the French Football Federation (FFF) and was open to all clubs in French football, as well as clubs from the overseas departments and territories (Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique, Mayotte, New Caledonia, Tahiti, Réunion, Saint Martin, and Saint Pierre and Miquelon). The competition returned largely to the format of 2019–20 after the changes last season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in France. The 2015–16 Championnat de France amateur 2 is the 18th season of the fifth tier in the French football league system in its current format. The competition is contested by 112 clubs split geographically across 8 groups of 14 teams each. The teams include amateur clubs (although a few are semi-professional) and the reserve teams of professional clubs.
