Entente Feignies Aulnoye FC
Entente Feignies Aulnoye Football Club is a football club based in Feignies, France. Founded in 1951 as Sporting Club de Feignies, the club plays in the National 2, the fourth tier in the French football league system, after winning promotion in the 2022–23 Championnat National 3 season. History Sporting Club de Feignies was founded in 1951. Feignies had a run of promotions in the first decade of the 21st century. As recently as 1999, they were playing in regional divisions at the ninth tier of French football, rising to the fourth tier of the French leagues, the Championnat de France Amateurs in 2005, where they played one season. In the summer of 2016 SC Feignies merged with neighbouring side AS Aulnoye-Aymeries, who were relegated from CFA 2 at the end of the 2015–16 season, to form the current club. Fort De Leveau
The Fort de Leveau, also known as Fort Schouller, is located in the commune of Feignies, France. It is part of the fortifications of Maubeuge, located to the northwest of the city, overlooking the railroad to Mons. The Séré de Rivières system fort was built 1882–1884, one of six forts built at the time. It is maintained as a museum by the town of Feignies. Description The fort is a typical example of a Séré de Rivières system, with a low wall, surrounded by a ditch, which is in turn defended by caponiers. The roof of the barracks is concreted and supports an artillery platform, or cavalier. The ditch was traversed by a drawbridge, no longer extant. The position was heavily bombarded in 1914. In 1893, four 120mm guns were mounted on the cavalier, while additional armament including 90mm guns were added in casemates. A 1914 project added a turret for two 75mm guns. Keyworth () is a large Village#United Kingdom, village and civil parish of Nottinghamshire, England. It is located about southeast of the centre of Nottingham. It sits on a small, broad hilltop about 200 feet above sea level which is set in the wider undulating boulder clay that characterises the area south of Nottingham. The village logo is a local windmill which was demolished in the 1950s. The former site of the windmill was located on Selby Lane. Keyworth is twinned with the French town of Feignies.
