Federico De Laurentiis
Federico De Laurentiis (February 28, 1955 – July 15, 1981) was an Italian film producer. The son of film producer Dino De Laurentiis, he was the executive producer of his father's produced film ''King Kong'' (1976) and he produced two films on his own: ''King of the'' ''Gypsies'' (1978) and ''She Dances Alone'' (1981). In 1981, De Laurentiis was killed in the mid-air collision of two light planes while he was shooting a documentary in Alaska. Life and career Federico De Laurentiis was born in Rome on February 28, 1955. He was the son of film producer Dino De Laurentiis and actress Silvana Mangano. He had three sisters: Veronica De Laurentiis, Raffaella De Laurentiis, and Francesca De Laurentiis. De Laurentiis attended the American Overseas School of Rome. He was classmates with actress Blanche Baker. He dated Monica Saraceni, daughter of film producer Fausto Saraceni, in the early 1970s. Mandingo (film)
''Mandingo'' is a 1975 American historical melodrama film that focuses on the Atlantic slave trade in the Antebellum South. The film's title refers to the mandinka people, who are referred to as "Mandingos", and described as being good slaves for fighting matches. Produced by Dino De Laurentiis for Paramount Pictures, the film was directed by Richard Fleischer. The screenplay, by Norman Wexler, was adapted from the 1957 novel '' Mandingo'' by Kyle Onstott, and the 1961 play '' Mandingo'' by Jack Kirkland (which is derived from the novel). ''Dune'' is a 1984 American epic science-fiction film written and directed by David Lynch and based on the 1965 Frank Herbert novel of the same name. Naknek ( esu, Nakniq) is a census-designated place located in and the borough seat of Bristol Bay Borough in the U.S. state of Alaska. As of the 2020 census, the population of the CDP was 470, down from 544 in 2010. Naknek is located on the north bank of the Naknek River, close to where the river runs into the Kvichak Bay arm of the northeastern end of Bristol Bay. South Naknek is on the other side of the river. Cessna 185 Skywagon
The Cessna 185 Skywagon is a six-seat, single-engined, general aviation light aircraft manufactured by Cessna. It first flew as a prototype in July 1960, with the first production model completed in March 1961. The Cessna 185 is a high-winged aircraft with non-retractable conventional landing gear and a tailwheel. Over 4,400 were built with production ceasing in 1985. When Cessna re-introduced some of its most popular models in the 1990s, the tailwheel equipped Cessna 180 and 185 were not put back into production. Design and development The aircraft is basically a Cessna 180 with a strengthened fuselage. The main difference between the two aircraft is the larger vertical fin on the 185 and the 300 hp (224 kW) Continental IO-520-D engine as opposed to the 230 hp (172 kW) Continental O-470-S fitted to the Cessna 180.
