Federalist Alliance
The Federalist Alliance () was a federalist Italian political party, which was the emanation of Lega Nord in Central and Southern Italy. The party was founded in 2003, after the Lega Sud Ausonia of Gianfranco Vestuto, which had been the Lega Nord's sister party in the South for many years, broke the alliance with Lega Nord and turned to its original anti-Northern feelings. The party was led by Giacomo Chiappori, former MP of Lega Nord and leader of Lega Nord Liguria with Southern ascent. The party had two regional deputies in Tuscany, where Lega Nord Toscana is also active: Virgilio Luvisotti and Jacopo Maria Ferri. Alleanza Assicurazioni S.p.A. is an Italian insurance company based in Milan. It was founded in Genoa in 1898. The company is particularly active in the life insurance sector. Since 1934 it has been part of the Generali Group and it has been part of Generali Italia since 2013. History In the 1870s Evan George Mackenzie had opened an insurance agency in Genoa which represented some important French, British and Austrian companies. The agency was enormously successful: eighty employees worked there and it was the largest insurance agency in Italy. On 12 October 1898, Mackenzie together with Giacomo Castelbolognesi, Enrico Rava and Giuseppe Corradi founded Alleanza Assicurazioni.
