The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta is one of the higher institutions of learning owned and run by the Federal government of Nigeria. History The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Ogun State, or FUNAAB, was established on January 1, 1988, by the Federal Government when four universities of technology, earlier merged in 1984, were demerged. This led to the creation of the first two universities of agriculture in Abeokuta and Makurdi. Prior to the emergence of FUNAAB, the Federal Government had established the Federal University of Technology, Abeokuta (FUTAB) in 1983. Then, in 1984, it was merged with the University of Lagos and had its name changed to the College of Science and Technology, Abeokuta (COSTAB), before the demerger of January 1988. Dutsin-Ma
Dutsin-Ma is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Katsina State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Dutsin Ma. Dutsinma is the administrative headquarters of the Dutsinma Local Government Area from its creation in 1976. The Zobe Dam lies to the south of the town of Dutsin Ma. The LGA has an area of 678 square km and a population of 169,671 at the 2006 census. The postal code of the area is 821. Katsina State

Dutse
Dutse is the capital city of Jigawa State in northern Nigeria, and also the capital of Dutse Emirate. It is home to Federal University, Dutse established in November 2011. In addition to the Federal University Dutse, there is also a Research Institute for Date Palm (Sub-Station) and state polytechnic in Dutse. The Jigawa State Polytechnic has its College of Business and Management Studies at Dutse. Jigawa State

Birnin Kebbi
Birnin Kebbi is a city located in Northwestern Nigeria It is the capital city of Kebbi State and headquarters of the Gwandu Emirate. As at 2007 the city had an estimated population of 125,594 people. Kebbi is mostly a Hausa and Fulani state, with Islam as the major religion. Formerly it was the capital of the Kebbi Emirate, which relocated to Argungu after the conquest by Gwandu in 1831. The town remained the capital of Kebbi until 1805, when it was burned in the Fulani jihad (“holy war”) by Abdullahi dan Fodio, a brother of the jihad leader and later Emir of Gwandu. Kebbi State
