Carlos Febles
Carlos Manuel Febles (, ; born May 24, 1976) is a Dominican professional baseball coach and former player who currently manages the Toros del Este of the Dominican Professional Baseball League. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1998 to 2003 with the Kansas City Royals, primarily as a second baseman. He threw and batted right-handed and was listed at and . He is currently the third base coach for the Toronto Blue Jays. He previously coached in MLB for the Boston Red Sox. Playing career After attending high school in the Dominican Republic, Febles was signed by the Kansas City Royals in 1993 as an amateur free agent. His first season in the Royals' farm system was 1995, when he played for the rookie league Gulf Coast League Royals. He played in Class A in 1996, Class A-Advanced in 1997, and Double-A in 1998. Magali Febles (born 24 December 1964 in Santo Domingo) is a Dominican beautician and beauty pageant circuit personality. Febles is the national director for the Miss Dominican Republic Universe franchise and has previously served as national director for Miss Universe Puerto Rico and Miss Haiti franchises. Pedro Juan Febles González (18 April 1958 – 14 December 2011) was a Venezuelan football player and manager. Club career Febles played for Deportivo Galicia, Atlético San Cristóbal and C.S. Marítimo de Venezuela. International career Febles made 25 appearances for the senior Venezuela national football team from 1979 to 1989, including participation in the 1979 Copa América, 1983 Copa América and 1989 Copa América.
