Turaif (Saudi Arabia)
Turaif () is a town in Northern Borders Province (also known as Al-Hudud ash Shamaliyah), Saudi Arabia, close to the border with Jordan. Turaif is located at a bend in Highway 85 as it turns west to Jordan. It is located at around . As of 2010, it has a population of 48,929. The city of Turaif is one of the cities that have been established because of the presence of the Trans-Arabian Pipeline. Highway 85 bisects Turaif into "Old" Turaif to the north and "New" Turaif to the south. The largest hotel in Turaif is the Al-Mudwah Hotel and SWISS SPIRIT located along Highway 85 as it cuts through the town. The Northern Borders Region ( ' is the least populated region of Saudi Arabia. It is located in the north of the country, bordering Iraq and Jordan. Air chief marshal (Air Chf Mshl or ACM) is a high-ranking air officer originating from the Royal Air Force. The rank is used by air forces of many countries that have historical British influence. An air chief marshal is equivalent to an Admiral in a navy or a full general in an army or other nations' air forces. Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud ( ar, سلمان بن عبد العزیز آل سعود, , ; born 31 December 1935) is King of Saudi Arabia, reigning since 2015, and served as Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia from 2015 to 2022. The 25th son of King Abdulaziz, the founder of Saudi Arabia, he assumed the throne on 23 January 2015. Muhammad Al Shaalan
Muhammad bin Ahmed Al Shaalan ( ar, محمد بن أحمد بن عبدالرحمن الشعلان; died June 2015) was a Saudi military officer and commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force (RSAF) from 2014 up until his death in Saudi Arabia. Al Shaalan was initially reported to have died from a heart attack outside the country by the Ministry of Defense, during the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in the Yemeni civil war. In early June 2015, several Scud missiles were fired by the Houthis from Yemen and hit King Khalid Air Base, which serves as the center of the Saudi air campaign against them; he was killed in the missile attack.
