Aminata Fatou Diallo (born 3 April 1995) is a French association football, footballer who last played as a midfielder for Saudi Women's Premier League club Al Nassr FC (women), Al-Nassr. Fatoumata Kanteh (born 8 May 1997), also known as Fatou, is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder or forward for Liga F club Sevilla. Born in Spain, she represents The Gambia at international level. She also plays for the unaffiliated Catalonia national team. Fatou Sow (sociologist)
Fatou Sow (born 1941) is a Senegalese feminist sociologist specialising in sociology of gender. Life and career After Senegal gained independence in 1960, Sow was one of the first women to attend a university in the country. After she defended a thesis about the Senegalese elite, she kept researching in sociology. Sow became a professor at the Cheikh Anta Diop University in Dakar. In the late 1980, she created the programme for Gender Education of the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa. In 1999, she organised the second International Congress for Feminist Research in Francophone Countries. In 1993, she became a research fellow of the French National Center for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Paris Diderot University, in a research unit established by Catherine Coquery-Vidrovitch. Fatou Seidi Ghali
Les Filles de Illighadad are a Tuareg band founded by Fatou Seidi Ghali in Illighadad, a village in the Sahara Desert in Niger. Ghali, it is claimed, is the first Tuareg woman to play guitar professionally. History Ghali taught herself to play on her brother's guitar. While women did perform music among her people, they didn't play guitar; rather, they played a style of music called ''tende'', centered on a drum made with mortar and pestles, a style that influenced Tuareg guitar playing but isn't generally part of the music played by Tuareg men. Les Filles de Illighadad incorporate tende with guitar playing, "asserting the power of women to innovate using the roots of traditional Tuareg music". Fatou Sanyang Kinteh also known as Fatou Kinteh is a Gambian politician and women's rights activist. She currently serves as the Gambian minister for women's affairs, children, and social welfare. She also serves as the national coordinator of The Gambia for Gender-Based Violence and Female Genital Mutilation. Career Fatou attended the Gambia High School in Banjul and studied sociology. She studied history at the Fourah Bay College, Freetown, Sierra Leone, graduating with a bachelor's degree. In 1999, she pursued a master's degree at Cardiff University.
