Major-General Fatima Boudouani is an Algerian army officer. Boudouani is a lawyer from Tipaza. She joined the analysis and business branch of the Algerian People's National Army in 1978 after President Houari Boumédiène Houari Boumédiène (; born Mohammed ben Brahim Boukharouba; 23 August 1932 – 27 December 1978) was an Algerian military officer and politician who was the list of heads of state of Algeria, second head of state of independent Algeria from 196 ... opened admission to women. Boudouani later transferred to the Department of National Defense's (DND) general secretariat and then to the legal branch of the aviation command where she became head of international affairs. Tipaza () is the capital of the Tipaza Province, Algeria. When it was part of the Roman Empire, it was called '' Tipasa''. The modern town was founded in 1857, and is chiefly remarkable for its ancient ruins and sandy littoral.
