Fatih Arda İpcioğlu
Fatih Arda İpçioğlu (born 28 September 1997) is a Turkish ski jumper and ex national record holder. Career In 2017, he became the first Turkish ski jumper, who scored Continental Cup points in Erzurum; he also became the first Turkish ski jumper, who performed in the Nordic World Championships in Lahti, where he qualified in both normal hill and large hill individual events. He became the first Turkish ski jumper to perform in World Cup in Lillehammer. In 2018, he qualified for the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea and became the first Olympic Turkish ski jumper. Erzurum

FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2018
The FIS Ski Flying World Championships 2018 was the 25th ski flying world championships. It was held between 18 and 21 January 2018 in Oberstdorf, Germany and for the sixth time on this location. They hosted world championships at Heini-Klopfer-Skiflugschanze already in 1973, 1981, 1988, 1998 and 2008. There was total prize money of 142,000 swiss francs (72,000 for individual and 70,000 for team event). Peter Prevc was the defending individual champion and Norway (Anders Fannemel, Johann André Forfang, Daniel-André Tande and Kenneth Gangnes) was defending the team title. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2025
The 44th FIS Nordic World Ski Championships was held from 26 February to 9 March 2025 in Trondheim, Norway. Host selection The location was scheduled to be decided in May 2020 during the 52nd FIS Congress in Pattaya, Thailand, but that was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The vote instead took place during a video conference on 3 October 2020. Trondheim won the bid to host the event unanimously as there were no opposing bids submitted. This was the second time the city is hosting the Championships, having hosted it in 1997. The city had also submitted a bid for 2023, but lost out to Planica, Slovenia. It was the sixth time for Norway to host the Championships. The Granåsen Ski Centre, which was also used during Trondheim's hosting of the 1997 Championships, was the main venue where the competitions were held. Planica
Planica () is an Alpine valley in northwestern Slovenia, extending south from the border village of Rateče, not far from another well-known ski resort, Kranjska Gora. Further south, the valley extends into the Tamar Valley, a popular hiking destination in Triglav National Park. Planica is famous for ski jumping. The 43rd FIS Nordic World Ski Championships were held from 21 February to 5 March 2023 in Planica, Slovenia. Championships Slovenia hosted the Nordic World Championships for the first time.
