Fareed Nawaz Baloch
Fareed Nawaz Baloch ( Sindhi: فريد نواز بلوچ), also spelt as Farid Nawaz Balouch, was a Pakistani television and radio artist. Early life Fareed Nawaz Baloch was born on 9 september 1946 at Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. His father Rais Khan Muhammad Nuhani died before his birth. Young Fareed Nawaz was brought up by his uncle Rais Ghulam Qadir Noohani. Educationist Mariyam Sultana Nuhani was his cousin. After graduation, he served in Chambers of Commerce Hyderabad. Acting career Fareed Nawas started his acting career at Radio Pakistan Hyderabad. Later on, he was introduced on Pakistan television by Abdul Karim Baloch. Farid Nawaz had more than 100 TV plays to his credit. He appeared in many tv drama serials including Dewarain and Jungle. Hyderabad ( Sindhi and ur, ; ) is a city and the capital of Hyderabad Division in the Sindh province of Pakistan. It is the second-largest city in Sindh, and the eighth largest in Pakistan. Founded in 1768 by Mian Ghulam Shah Kalhoro of the Kalhora Dynasty, Hyderabad served as a provincial capital until the British transferred the capital to Bombay presidency in 1840. It is about inland of Karachi, the largest city of Pakistan, to which it is connected by a direct railway and M-9 motorway. Toponymy The city was named in honour of Ali, the fourth caliph and cousin of the Prophet Muhammad. Sindhis ( sd, سنڌي Arabic script, Perso-Arabic: सिन्धी Devanagari; ) are an Indo-Aryan peoples, Indo-Aryan ethno-linguistic group, ethnic group who speak the Sindhi language and are native to the province of Sindh in Pakistan. After the partition of India, partition of British Indian empire in 1947, many Sindhi Hindus and Sindhi Sikhs migrated to the newly independent Dominion of India and other parts of the world. Mariyam Sultana Noohani
Mariyam Sultana Noohani ( Sindhi: مريم سلطانا نوحاڻي) (19 June 1932 – 25 November 2014) was an educationist and academic leader of Hyderabad, Sindh, Pakistan. She headed All Pakistan Women Association and the Federation of Pakistan Women Organisation. She imparted education and training especially to the girls and apprised them with the importance of schooling. She also remained associated with the Sindh Public Service Commission and the Sindh University as a subject expert. She served as Director of College Education of Hyderabad Region. She is popularly known as "Apa Mariyam Noohani". She was awarded title of Ummul Kalam Apa Mariyam due to her services towards education of the people of Sindh.
