Fareb (1996 Film)
''Fareb'' ( Deceit) is a 1996 Indian Hindi-language psychological thriller film directed by Vikram Bhatt. The film features newcomers Faraaz Khan and Suman Ranganathan in lead roles with Milind Gunaji as the antagonist. Released on 28 June 1996, the film was a commercial success. The film is a remake of the inspired from 1992 American film ''Unlawful Entry''. Plot The film opens up in J.S Medical College, Pune, where the principal calls Dr. Rohan Verma and tells him that he has received a gold medal, a bungalow, a car and a chief surgeon post in Bombay. Verma and his wife Suman, a school teacher, both reach their new house in Bombay. One year later, while they are asleep, they hear a voice. Verma starts searching the house when suddenly a burglar attacks him. Suman calls for the police, but the burglar escapes. Vikram Bhatt
Vikram Bhatt is an Indian director, producer, screenwriter and actor. He is best known for directing the ''Raaz'' film series, an Indian horror series produced by Mahesh Bhatt and Mukesh Bhatt and for directing '' Ghulam'' (1998) starring Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherji, which was also produced by Mukesh Bhatt. For both of these films, he was nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Director. Gopaldas Saxena (known by his ''nom-de-plume'', Neeraj; 4 January 1925 – 19 July 2018) was an Indian poet and author of Hindi literature. He was also a poet of Hindi Kavi sammelan (Poets Meet). He wrote under the pen name "Neeraj". Biography Gopaldas Saxena was born in the village of Puravali, near Mahewa in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh, India, on 4 January 1925. He was born into a Hindu family of the Kayastha caste. Besides writing, he earned his living teaching in a college and was a Professor of Hindi Literature in Dharma Samaj College, Aligarh.
