Fardin Ghasemi
Mohammad-Ali Fardin (, 4 February 1931 – 6 April 2000) was a prominent Iranian actor, film director and freestyle wrestler and was the runner-up in world wrestling. He started his film career in the late 1950s and was a big star of Iranian cinema for two decades from the 1960s onwards. He was mostly famous for portraying masculinity and chivalry in Persian films. The undisputed box office champion of the era, Fardin captivated millions of viewers in his 25-year career. Between 1961 and 1976, he acted in the most popular movies of the year in Iranian cinema. He was active in wrestling and won a silver medal in the 1954 World Championship. He then started his first professional appearance in the cinema with the invitation of Ismail Kushan by playing a role in Cheshme Ab Hayat (1959). ''Subah-O-Sham'' () is a 1972 Indo-Iranian film directed by Tapi Chanakya. The film was shot simultaneously in Hindi and Persian. The Iranian version was released as Homaye Saadet in 1971. Ahmad Saeed Hagh Parast Raad (, also romanized as ''Said Rād'' and ''Sa'id Rād''; 26 October 1944 – 22 July 2024) was an Iranian actor and playwright who started his career in 1968. Naser Malek Motiei (; 29 March 1930 – 25 May 2018) was an Iranian actor and director. He starred in numerous films and television shows. However after the Iranian Revolution in 1979, he mostly stopped acting and pivoted into other career choices. On May 25, 2018, Nasser Malek Matiei was admitted to Atiye Hospital in Tehran due to kidney problems and died a few days later on June 4, 2018 at the age of 88. Iraj Ghaderi
Iraj Ghaderi (; 17 April 1934 – 6 May 2012) was an Iranian film director and actor. He briefly studied to become a pharmacist, but soon dropped out. He died in Tehran on 6 May 2012, aged 77. Life Iraj Ghaderi studied in pharmacology but did not finish the program. His artistic career began in 1956 with playing in the film ''Intersection Accidents'' by Samuel Khachikian. He established the film company ''Panorama'' with Moosa Afshar in 1963. He, who is often recognized as one of the major filmmakers of the pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema, continued filmmaking after the revolution with the film ''Taraj'' in 1985.
