''Fantastica Mania'' 2012 was the name of two professional wrestling major shows produced that took place on January 21 and January 22, 2012 in Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event was the second ever co-promoted events between Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and featured matches with wrestlers from both promotions. The main event of the first night, a tag team match, where New Japan wrestler Kazuchika Okada and CMLL wrestler Volador Jr. defeated IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi and NWA World Historic Welterweight Champion La Sombra, built to not only Volador Jr. challenging for the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship on the second night, but also to Okada challenging for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship on February 12 at New Japan's The New Beginning pay-per-view. Consejo Mundial De Lucha Libre
Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The promotion was previously known as (EMLL) (''Mexican Wrestling Enterprise''). Founded in 1933, it is the oldest professional wrestling promotion still in existence. The New Beginning is an annual professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event has been held since 2011 as a pay-per-view Pay-per-view (PPV) is a type of pay television or webcast service that enables a viewer to pay to watch individual events via private telecast. Events can be purchased through a multichannel television platform using their electronic program ... (PPV). From 2013 to 2014, the event also aired outside Japan as an internet pay-per-view (iPPV). Danshoku Dino
, better known by his ring name , also spelled Danshoku Dieno, is a Japanese professional wrestler. Dino has spent most of his career competing for DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT), where he plays an overly exaggerated homosexual character. His ring name comes from the character of from the manga series '' Sakigake!! Otokojuku''. Early life In elementary, junior and high school, Dino played soccer alongside Keita Kanemoto who was his team captain. Professional wrestling career Dino was trained in shoot fighting prior to training to be a wrestler and he incorporated this training into his wrestling style. (born October 26, 1973), better known by his ring name (stylized as TAKA Michinoku), is a Japanese professional wrestling, professional wrestler and former mixed martial artist. He primarily appears for New Japan Pro-Wrestling, where he is a member of the Just 5 Guys, Just 4 Guys stable. From 2011, he was a member of Suzuki-gun, until the faction's disbandment in 2022. Ayumi Kurihara
(born July 13, 1984) is a retired '' joshi puroresu '' wrestler best known for her tenures with Pro Wrestling Wave and NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Kurihara entered training with the women's pro wrestling promotion AtoZ and then transferred to M's Style, where she learned the craft from well-known Japanese female wrestlers Gami, Mariko Yoshida, Akino, and Michiko Omukai. Kurihara debuted in 2005, at the age of 20. In a "1 Day Tournament" Kurihara had her professional debut and defeated Gami when she reversed a pin attempt into a roll-up. Máscara Dorada is the ring name of a Mexican '' luchador enmascarado'' (or masked professional wrestler). He works for Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL). In CMLL, he is a former Mexican National Lightweight Champion, NWA World Historic Welterweight Champion, CMLL Universal Champion and CMLL World Trios Champion.
