''Fantastica Mania'' 2012 was the name of two professional wrestling major shows produced that took place on January 21 and January 22, 2012 in Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The event was the second ever co-promoted events between Japanese New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) and the Mexican Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and featured matches with wrestlers from both promotions. The main event of the first night, a tag team match, where New Japan wrestler Kazuchika Okada and CMLL wrestler Volador Jr. defeated IWGP Heavyweight Champion Hiroshi Tanahashi and NWA World Historic Welterweight Champion La Sombra, built to not only Volador Jr. challenging for the NWA World Historic Welterweight Championship on the second night, but also to Okada challenging for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship on February 12 at New Japan's The New Beginning pay-per-view. Co., Ltd. (CMLL; , "World Wrestling Council") is a ''lucha libre'' professional wrestling promotion based in Mexico City. The New Beginning is an annual professional wrestling event promoted by New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW). The event has been held since 2011 as a pay-per-view Pay-per-view (PPV) is a type of pay television or webcast service that enables a viewer to pay to watch individual events via private telecast. Danshoku Dino
, better known by his ring name , also spelled Danshoku Dieno, is a Japanese professional wrestler. Dino has spent most of his career competing for DDT Pro-Wrestling (DDT), where he plays an overly exaggerated homosexual character. His ring name comes from the character of from the manga series '' Sakigake!! Otokojuku''. (born July 13, 1984) is a retired '' joshi puroresu '' wrestler best known for her tenures with Pro Wrestling Wave and NEO Japan Ladies Pro-Wrestling. Professional wrestling career Kurihara entered training with the women's pro wrestling promotion AtoZ and then transferred to M's Style, where she learned the craft from well-known Japanese female wrestlers Gami, Mariko Yoshida, Akino, and Michiko Omukai.
