The eighth and penultimate season of the American dramatic television series '' Touched by an Angel'' aired CBS from September 29, 2001 through May 11, 2002, spanning 22 episodes. Created by John Masius and produced by Martha Williamson Martha Williamson is a television producer, best known as the head writer and executive producer of the long-running hit CBS television series ''Touched by an Angel''. Hinton Battle (born November 29, 1956) is an American actor, singer, dancer, and dance instructor. He has won three Tony Awards, all in the category of Featured Actor in a Musical.
