''Familia'' () is a 2024 Italian drama film directed by Francesco Costabile, based on the 2017 memoir ''Non sarà sempre così'' by Luigi Celeste. It stars Francesco Gheghi, Barbara Ronchi, Francesco Di Leva, Marco Cicalese, Enrico Borello, and Tecla Insolia. It premiered at the 81st Venice International Film Festival on 1 September 2024. Francesco Costabile
Francesco Costabile (born 30 September 1980) is an Italian film director and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Cosenza, Costabile studied at the DAMS (Disciplines of Arts, Music, and Entertainment) department at the University of Bologna, and later at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. He made his professional debut in 2003 with the short film ''La sua Gamba'', and in 2006 won a Nastro d'Argento and received a David di Donatello nomination for the short ''Dentro Roma''. After directing several documentary films, Costabile made his feature film debut with '' Una Femmina: The Code of Silence'', which premiered in the Panorama section of the 72nd Berlin International Film Festival. The film got Costabile two David di Donatello nominations, for best directorial debut and for best screenplay. The 70th David di Donatello ceremony, presented by the Accademia del Cinema Italiano, was held on 7 May 2025 at Cinecittà, Cinecittà Studios in Rome, to honour the best Italian films of 2024. Monte Sacro is the 16th of the city of Rome in Italy. As a quarter, or second level administrative division, it is one of two that comprise the first level division of Municipio III. Monte Sacro takes its name from the namesake Monte Sacro hill.
