Fallen Idols (album)
''Fallen Idols'' is the fifth and final full-length album by the Australian heavy metal band Lord. Their first album in six years, it was released in Australia in August 2019, by the band's own label Dominus. Drummer Tim Yatras returns as a session member for this album. The Colombian artist Felipe Machado Franco designed the art, as he had done for the previous two Lord albums. The album's first single and music video "United (Welcome Back)" was released in February 2019. ''Fallen Idols'' hit the Australian Artist Album Charts at #20. Lord (sometimes stylised as LORD) were an Australian power metal band from Wollongong, New South Wales. The group began as a solo project for Lord Tim, "Lord Tim" Grose of Dungeon (band), Dungeon in 2003 and expanded into a complete band when Dungeon broke up in 2005. LORD appeared with major acts that include Queensrÿche, Nightwish, Nevermore, Saxon (band), Saxon and Gamma Ray (band), Gamma Ray. The band's name is usually stylised in all capital letters. Andy LaRocque
Andy LaRocque (born Anders Allhage, 29 November 1962) is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter and record producer, best known as a member of the heavy metal band King Diamond since 1985. Biography LaRocque started out in the mid 1980s in the Gothenburg hard rock bands Trafalgar and an early version of Swedish Erotica. He also played on the Death album '' Individual Thought Patterns'' and the IllWill album ''Evilution'', along with former members of Mercyful Fate. He can be heard on other albums as well, such as Falconer's '' Chapters from a Vale Forlorn'', where he performed lead guitars on the song "Busted to the Floor". LaRocque contributed a guitar solo to the track "Cold" on the album '' Slaughter of the Soul'' by Swedish melodic death metal group At the Gates. Icehouse are an Australian Rock music, rock band, formed in Sydney in 1977 as Flowers. Dorothee Pesch (born 3 June 1964), known professionally as Doro Pesch or simply Doro, is a German heavy metal singer and the former frontwoman of heavy metal band Warlock. Doro's contributions to music and culture made her a global figure in metal culture for over three decades. Johnny Dee (born John DiTeodoro, Jr., April 6, 1963) is an American heavy metal drummer. He is best known for being a member of the glam metal band Britny Fox, and as a member of Doro Pesch's band since 1993. In the past Dee played in the bands Mariah and Waysted, as well as collaborated with artists such as Blaze Bayley and guitarist Jack Frost. David Ellefson is an American musician, best known for his long tenure as the bassist and backing vocalist for thrash metal band Megadeth across two stints. Ellefson initially became an accomplished bassist and honed his songwriting skills while leading several of his own bands through the club scene of North America's Midwest region before relocating to Los Angeles. He was then the bassist of Megadeth from 1983 to their breakup in 2002, and again from 2010 to 2021. Tim Yatras is an Australian musician, composer and producer, best known as one half of black metal duo Austere, and the creator of the black metal/rock/trance act Germ. Biography Yatras was a member of Lord, and prior to that was also a part of Dungeon from February 2005 until their breakup, and appears on the 2006 release, '' The Final Chapter'', performing drums and backing vocals, and co-writing most of the tracks.
