"Fall at Your Feet" is a 1991 song by Crowded House, from their 1991 album, ''Woodface''. It is the only single from ''Woodface'' to be written solely by the group's leader Neil Finn, who co-wrote all other singles from the album with his brother Tim Finn. It peaked at number 17 in the United Kingdom, making it ''Woodface''s second-most-successful single, after "Weather with You". The song also entered the top 40 in Australia, Canada, France, Ireland, and New Zealand. At the APRA Music Awards of 1993, the song won Most Performed Australian Work Overseas. "Fall at Your Feet" was later released on the group's greatest hits collection ''Recurring Dream'' and was performed at the group's farewell performance in 1996, '' Farewell to the World''. The Triple J Hottest 100 is an annual music poll presented by the publicly-funded Australian youth radio station Triple J. Members of the public are invited to vote for their favourite Australian and alternative music of the year in an online poll conducted two weeks prior to the new year. The first countdown in 1989 was held in March, and then on various days in January and February until 1998 when it was mostly consistently held on Australia Day. Since 2017, the countdown has been held on the fourth weekend of January due to increasing Australia Day debate, controversy about Australia Day regarding its marking of the History of Australia (1788–1850), colonisation of Australia and dispossession of Indigenous Australians, Indigenous people. The track was released as the album's fifth and final single in April 1987. The track lends its title to the book, ''Crowded House: Something So Strong'' (1997), by Australian biographer Chris Bourke, which details the band's career from forming to just after their breakup in 1996. Split Enz
Split Enz were a New Zealand band formed in 1972. Regarded as the first New Zealand band to gain significant recognition outside of Australasia, they were initially noted for their progressive rock, progressive/art rock sound, flamboyant visual style and theatrical performances. "Six Months in a Leaky Boat" is a song by New Zealand art rock group Split Enz. It was released in May 1982 as the second single from the group's album, '' Time and Tide''. The song became a top-10 hit in Australia, New Zealand and Canada, going on to be voted the fifth-best New Zealand song ever in the 2001 Australasian Performing Right Association list. Its chart performance was less successful in the United Kingdom, owing to its release during the Falklands War.
