Falcon 10X
The Dassault Falcon 10X is a large, long-range business jet under development by Dassault Aviation in France. Development On 6 May 2021, Dassault launched its $75 million Falcon 10X flagship to compete with the Bombardier Global 7500 and the Gulfstream G700. Originally scheduled for 2025, the aircraft is now expected to begin deliveries in 2027. Design It is long and has a 33.6 m (110 ft)-wide, high wing aspect ratio, aspect ratio carbonfibre wing, a first for a Dassault business jet. It is powered by two Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X engines with over thrust, with a titanium fan blisk, a 10-stage compressor, a two-stage shroudless HP turbine and a four-stage turbine. It has a 16 m long, four-zone cabin wider than its competition, wide and high, with a 3,000 ft cabin altitude at 41,000 ft and 50% larger windows than on the Falcon 8X. Trim tabs are small surfaces connected to the trailing edge of a larger Flight control surfaces, control surface on a boat or aircraft, used to control the trim of the controls, i.e. to counteract hydro- or aerodynamic forces and stabilise the boat or aircraft in a particular desired Orientation (geometry), attitude without the need for the operator to constantly apply a control force. This is done by adjusting the angle of the tab relative to the larger surface. An enhanced flight vision system (EFVS, sometimes EVS) is an Avionics, airborne system which provides an image of the scene and displays it to the pilot, in order to provide an image in which the scene and objects in it can be better detected. In other words, an EFVS is a system which provides the pilot with an image which is better than unaided human vision. An EFVS includes imaging sensors (one or many) such as a color camera, infrared camera or radar, and typically a display for the pilot, which can be a head-mounted display or head-up display. A head-up display, or heads-up display, also known as a HUD () or head-up guidance system (HGS), is any transparent display that presents data without requiring users to look away from their usual viewpoints. The origin of the name stems from a pilot being able to view information with the head positioned "up" and looking forward, instead of angled down looking at lower instruments. London City Airport is an international airport in London, England.
