Fakhrul Zulhazmi Yussof
Muhammad Fakhrul Zulhazmi bin Yussof (born 5 March 1991) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a goalkeeper. He has played for the Brunei national football team on two occasions. Club career Fakhrul is a shot-stopper with an eccentric streak, being able to take outfield free-kicks and penalties in the mould of Chilavert and Rogério Ceni. He started his football career with the youth team of Majra FC and was selected to play for Brunei Youth Team, a national under-16 team that competed in the league's second tier. On 16 January 2010, he became the first goalkeeper to score in the Brunei leagues when he converted an equalising penalty in an eventual 3–1 loss against LLRC FT. Fakhrul was back in Majra's colours after the abandoned 2011 season. His heroic performances at the 2012 Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy instigated Brunei's only professional club DPMM FC to acquire his services. Mohammad Hendra Azam bin Mohammad Idris (born 10 August 1988) is a Bruneian footballer who plays as a midfielder for DPMM FC and the Brunei national football team. Club career Hendra began his career with Majra FC where he once scored from the halfway line seconds after the opposing team were celebrating an equalizer and failing to prepare for the restart. He moved to QAF FC in 2009 where he won the Brunei Premier League in his first season with them. Hendra joined DPMM in 2012, and broke into the first team the following year, scoring in the semi-final of the 2013 Singapore League Cup. By the 2019 season, Hendra became an integral part of the DPMM squad, starting in most matches as a deep-lying playmaker. Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy
The Hassanal Bolkiah Trophy for ASEAN Youth Football Championship, is the football tournament for youth players in Southeast Asia. It was opened to football players from ASEAN member states under the age of 21 years to participate in this. The tournament is organised by National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam in collaboration with ASEAN Football Federation. Brunei Darussalam always host for the tournament. The tournament was first launched in 2002. The next tournament is scheduled to run in 2022, as plans for a 2020 edition were scrapped. Kasuka Football Club () is a football club from Brunei, that plays in the Brunei Super League. History Early days Due to the demand from the residents of Kampong Sungai Kedayan to play in the district league, Kasuka FC was founded in 1993. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, the club enjoyed a great deal of success. For the 1997–98 season, they won the Brunei-Muara District League and added the Police Cup (PRG) and Mukim Berakas Cup (Perbekal) to their collection of victories. Futsal
Futsal is a football-based game played on a hard court smaller than a football pitch, and mainly indoors. It has similarities to five-a-side football and indoor football. Futsal is played between two teams of five players each, one of whom is the goalkeeper. Unlimited substitutions are permitted. The 2015 Brunei Super League is the third season of the Brunei Super League. It is organized by the National Football Association of Brunei Darussalam and sponsored by DST Group. On 23 October 2015, MS ABDB clinched the title with two games left to play. A 6–1 victory over Kilanas FC had put them 13 points ahead of second-placed Indera SC, guaranteeing the Armymen's first league title since 1985.
