FairBreak Invitational T20
The FairBreak Invitational T20 is a women's Twenty20 cricket competition. The tournament, sanctioned by the ICC, is privately-run by FairBreak Global, a company that aims to promote gender equality. Players from around the world play in the tournament, spread across six teams. The inaugural tournament took place in Dubai in 2022. The second edition of the tournament took place in April 2023, in Hong Kong, with a further tournament scheduled in 2023 in the USA. History The tournament was set up by FairBreak Global, with the aim of improving differences in pay, quality of play, and opportunity between men and women in cricket. Starting in 2013, FairBreak teams were fielded in exhibition matches. In particular, it seeks to improve the financial gap between men's and women's cricket, along with differences in quality of play and available opportunities for women. The company's main activity is the organisation and management of a women's cricket competition, the FairBreak Invitational T20 tournament. Falcons (women's Cricket)
Falcons is a women's franchise cricket team, which was founded in 2022, and competes in the FairBreak Invitational T20. The team has no geographical base. They are currently being captained by Suzie Bates and coached by Joanne Broadbent. The rights and sponsorship of the franchise is currently acquired by K-Man Ventures. History Falcons were formed in April 2022 to compete in the inaugural edition of the FairBreak Invitational T20, a multi-national women's Twenty20 cricket tournament, with Saba Nasim as the team manager. This was the first time that the team participated in any cricket competition at professional level. SPOTV is a South Korean pay television network, which features sports programming and some sports-related talk shows. Kathryn Bryce
Kathryn Bryce (born 17 November 1997) is a Scottish cricketer who is the current captain of the Scotland women's cricket team. In December 2020, Bryce was named the ICC Associate Cricketer of the Decade. In June 2021, Bryce became the first cricketer for Scotland, male or female, to make it into the top ten of the ICC Player Rankings.
