Fahir Atakoğlu
Mustafa Fahir Atakoğlu (, born 28 January 1963) is a Turkish American pianist and composer who has worked with a wide range of artists across many genres of music, ranging in style from symphonic scoring to advertising jingles. He was born in Istanbul, Turkey. Early life From the age of 7, Atakoğlu was interested in music and began playing piano and drums. Though his family intended for him to continue in the family business, his mother fostered his interest in music and through his music teacher Muzaffer Uz he was introduced to Cemal Reşit Rey, Turkey's famous composer, pianist, script writer, and conductor. Atakoğlu studied under Rey from 1977 to 1979. He attended the Istanbul State Conservatory from 1978 to 1980. MÜYORBİR
MÜYORBİR (full name in , "Professional Union of Music Interpreters") is a copyright collective for musicians in Turkey. The organization was founded in 2000 by 51 musicians under Section 42 of Turkey's Intellectual and Artistic Works Law 5846 as a Neighboring Rights Collecting Society. MÜYORBİR became a legal entity on 19 April 2000 following approval by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. MÜYORBİR represents 95% of the Turkish music industry's recorded works. It is the only collective society in Turkey authorized to license its members music content under Section 80 of Turkey's Intellectual and Artistic Works Law. Metin Kaçan
Metin Kaçan (15 November 1961 – 6 January 2013) was a Turkish author, who is best known for his novel ''Ağır Roman (novel), Ağır Roman'' (''Cholera Street''), which was translated into German (Kaçan 2003), and a movie (''Ağır Roman (film), Ağır Roman''), directed by Mustafa Altıoklar (1999), was based on it. Literary career Besides ''Ağır Roman (novel), Ağır Roman'', Kaçan is also the author of the novel ''Fındık Sekiz'', a collection of short stories, "A ship to the Islands" (''Adalara Vapur'', Kaçan 2002), and a book written in a mixed style between prose and poetry, entitled "The Tiger at Withdrawal" (''Harman Kaplan'', Kaçan 1999).
