Fadhlullah
Fadhlullah (born June 15, 1981), known as Dek Fad, is an Indonesian politician and former fighter of the Free Aceh Movement (GAM) who currently served as the Vice Governor of Aceh. He also served as a Member of the House of Representatives (DPR) from the Gerindra Party Faction from 2014 to 2024. He also served as the leader of the Gerindra Party of Aceh. He was once Deputy Chairperson of the DPW Aceh Party of Pidie Regency from 2005 to 2012. Early life He was born on June 15, 1981 in Simpang, Greater Teupin, Batee, Pidie Regency. 2024 Aceh Gubernatorial Election
The 2024 Acehnese gubernatorial election was held on 27 November 2024 as part of 2024 Indonesian local elections, nationwide local elections to elect the List of governors of Aceh, governor of Aceh for a five-year term. The previous election was held in 2017. The election was won by former Vice Governor Muzakir Manaf of the Aceh Party with 53% of the vote. His sole opponent, of NasDem Party, NasDem, received 46%. Electoral system The election, like other local elections in 2024, follow the First-past-the-post voting, first-past-the-post system where the candidate with the most votes wins the election, even if they do not win a majority. It is possible for a candidate to run Uncontested election, uncontested, in which case the candidate is still required to win a majority of votes "against" an "None of the above, empty box" option. Muzakir Manaf
Muzakir Manaf (born 3 April 1964), known as Mualem, is an Indonesian politician and former Free Aceh Movement (GAM) guerilla fighter who served as the vice governor of Aceh between 2012 and 2017. Leading the movement's guerilla wing following the death of his predecessor, he was its leader at the end of the conflict and later founded the Aceh Party, becoming its first and current chairman. Career GAM Manaf stated that when he graduated from high school, he signed up to join the Indonesian National Armed Forces, but failed and instead went to Malaysia to sign up as a GAM fighter, this time passing. In 1986, Manaf left for Libya, where he received combat training with other GAM members. Following the death of GAM commander Abdullah Syafi'i in 2002 during combat with Indonesian Army soldiers, Muzakir Manaf became the commander of GAM's central command. 2019 Indonesian Legislative Election
