Faction46 was an American stock car racing team that competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team was founded in 2023 by Lane and Logan Moore, and fielded the No. 46 Chevrolet Silverado for Thad Moffitt and Dawson Cram for half of the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season before the team was shut down by team owner Lane Moore due to financial constraints in July 2024. The team had a technical alliance with Niece Motorsports and operated out of their race shop in Salisbury, North Carolina. History On December 7, 2023, the team announced their intentions of fielding an entry in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series in 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, 2024. The 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series was the 30th season of the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, a stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season started on February 16 with the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway and ended with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Championship Race on November 8 at Phoenix Raceway. Ben Rhodes (racing driver), Ben Rhodes of ThorSport Racing entered the season as the defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series champion. Christian Eckes claimed the regular season championship. Thad Moffitt
Thaddeus Drake Moffitt (born September 12, 2000) is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series, driving the No. 46 Toyota for Nitro Motorsports. He previously competed in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Racing career Early career Growing up in a racing family, Moffitt cut his teeth in go-karts at age fourteen and later moved up to quarter midgets and limited late models, running at tracks like Caraway Speedway and Ace Speedway. Speaking about having racers in the family, he said that advice will be given upon request but also that older relatives wanted him to develop without help. Dawson Kevin Cram (born September 12, 2001) is an American professional stock car racing driver, mechanic, and team owner. Douglas Paul George (born November 5, 1960) is an American professional stock car racing driver and crew chief in NASCAR. He serves as the crew chief of the No. 99 ThorSport Racing Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series driven by Ben Rhodes. Nashville Superspeedway is a tri-oval intermediate speedway in Lebanon, Tennessee. The track has held a variety of racing events since its opening in 2001, including NASCAR and the IndyCar Series. It is currently owned by Speedway Motorsports, LLC (SMI) since 2021 and led by track general manager Matt Greci.
