Fabrizia is a small mountain town in Calabria, Italy, part of the Province of Vibo Valentia. The territory is in the mountain range of the Serre Calabresi starting at the Limina pass and ends at the isthmus of Catanzaro, the narrowest point of Italy, where 35 kilometers separating the Ionian Sea from Tyrrhenian Sea. Le Serre confine to the South with the Aspromonte and the plain of Palmi, to the North with the La Sila. The territory lies in the provinces of Reggio Calabria, Vibo Valentia and Catanzaro. The province of Vibo Valentia (; Vibonese: ) is a province in the Calabria region of Italy, set up by a national law of 6 March 1992, which came into effect on 1 January 1996, and formerly part of the province of Catanzaro. Catanzaro (; or ; ), also known as the "City of the two Seas" (), is an Italian city of 86,183 inhabitants (2020), the capital of the Calabria region and of its province and the second most populated comune of the region, behind Reggio Calabria. The Tyrrhenian Sea (, ; or ) , , , , is part of the Mediterranean Sea off the western coast of Italy. It is named for the Tyrrhenians, Tyrrhenian people identified with the Etruscans of Italy. Aspromonte
The Aspromonte is a mountain massif in the Metropolitan City of Reggio Calabria (Calabria, southern Italy). In Italian aspro means "rough" whereas in Greek it means "white" (wikt:άσπρος, Άσπρος), therefore the name literally translates to either "rough mountain" or "white mountain". It overlooks the Strait of Messina, being limited by the ionian Sea, Ionian and Tyrrhenian Seas and by the Pietrace river. The highest peak is Montalto (Aspromonte), Montalto (). The constituting rocks are mostly gneiss, and mica schists, which form characteristic overlapping terraces. The massif is part of the Aspromonte National Park. La Sila
La Sila, also simply Sila, is the name of the mountainous plateau and historic region located in Calabria, southern Italy. The Sila National Park is known to have the purest air in Europe. Geography The Sila occupies part of the provinces of Cosenza, Crotone and Catanzaro, and is divided (from north to south) into the sub-ranges ''Sila Greca'', ''Sila Grande'' and ''Sila Piccola'' ("Greek", "Greater" and "Lesser Sila", respectively).
