Fabrice Asencio (1 August 1966 – 4 October 2016) was a French professional footballer who played as a defender. During his career, he made 202 appearances and scored one goal in the Division 2. Post-playing career After his playing career, Asencio became a scout. After working for Arles-Avignon, he began working for Evian Evian (, ; , stylized as evian) is a French brand that bottles mineral water from several sources near Évian-les-Bains, on the south shore of Lake Geneva. Union Sportive du Littoral de Dunkerque () is a Association football, football club based in Dunkirk, France. It competes in Ligue 2, having achieved promotion from the Championnat National in the 2022–23 Championnat National, 2022–23 season. The club colours are blue and white, and home matches are played at the Stade Marcel-Tribut. The club was founded in 1909 under the name of Union Sportive Dunkerque-Malo from a merger of two local teams, Stade Dunkerquois and Union Sportive de Malo-les-Bains. The latter, founded in 1900, had been the most widely supported club in the Dunkirk area and was based in the neighbouring town of Malo-les-Bains (later annexed by the city of Dunkirk in 1970). The Catholic League of France (), sometimes referred to by contemporary (and modern) Catholics as the Holy League (), was a major participant in the French Wars of Religion. The League, founded and led by Henry I, Duke of Guise, intended the eradication of Protestantism from Catholic France, as well as the replacement of the French King Henry III, who had acquiesced to Protestant worship in the Edict of Beaulieu (1576). The League also fought against Henry of Navarre, the Protestant prince who became presumptive heir to the French throne in 1584.
