Fabio Caponio
Fabio Caponio (born 26 March 1999) is an Italian badminton player. He plays for the Italian national team as well as the Italian Air Force. Career In 2016, he won the Ethiopia International tournament in the men's doubles event. In 2017, he won the Mauritius International tournament in the men's doubles event. In 2022, Caponio teamed-up with Giovanni Toti won the bronze medal in the men's doubles at the 2022 Mediterranean Games. Artur Silva de Pomoceno (born 1 May 1997) is a Brazilian badminton player. Career Pomoceno started playing badminton in 2008 for the Rio de Janeiro social project. In 2013, he won the South America Badminton Championships, and in 2014 he was a runner-up. In 2014, he also won the bronze medal at the Pan Am Junior Badminton Championships in the boys' singles event, and in 2015 he won the silver medal. Nyl Kiyoshi Yakura (born 14 February 1993) is a Canadian badminton player. He captured two gold medals at the Pan American Games, winning the men's doubles title in 2019 and 2023, and also a silver in the mixed doubles in 2019. Yakura, who grew up in Pickering, currently lives in Toronto and trains at the KC Badminton Club in Markham. Career Yakura competed at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Adam Dong
Adam Dong (; born 14 February 1994) is a Chinese-born Canadian badminton player. He captured the men's doubles gold medals at the 2023 Pan American Games and at the 2023 Pan Am Championships. Early life Dong was born in Suzhou, China. Before moving to Canada, he competed in the 2011 National Intercity Games of the People's Republic of China and won a gold in the badminton men's team event representing Nanjing. Career Dong entered the Canadian national team in 2016. On that same year, he partnered with Nyl Yakura. After the duo split up, he formed partnerships with Guoxing Huang and David Wu. He later partnered with Yakura again in 2021 and they won their first international title together at the Mexican International Series. The Mexican Open or Mexico International is an international badminton competition held in Mexico. The Mexican Open has been held together with the Mexican National Championship of Badminton which main difference is that foreign players can participate in the former competition, while the latter is just reserved for Mexican badminton players. The original intention was that both tournaments would be held annually; however, due to different circumstances it has not always been this the case.
