Fab (brand)
Fab is an ice cream brand made by Nestlé. Both the ice lolly on a stick brands 'Zoom' and 'FAB', were introduced in United Kingdom by J. Lyons & Co. Ltd., and were brought out in order to take advantage of the popularity of Gerry Anderson's television series '' Fireball XL5'' and '' Thunderbirds''. The brand Zoom was launched first, in April/May 1963, to capitalise on Fireball XL5, with Fab appearing in May 1967. Initially the Zoom's commercial target was for boys only, being rocket shaped, which left a vast market niche that was filled by the development of the "Fab"; a more feminine looking lolly designed in mind for girls. The lolly was originally pitched at the female market with the association to purchase being the attraction of Lady Penelope. Regularly used in the show was the phrase "F-A-B" as an equivalent to "Roger" (communications jargon indicating that a message has been received). Fab Melo
Fabricio Paulino de Melo (; June 20, 1990 – February 11, 2017) was a Brazilian professional basketball player. He played one season in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Boston Celtics before returning to his home country and playing for Liga Sorocabana and Brasília of the Brazilian Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB). Prior to entering the NBA in 2012, he played two years of college basketball for Syracuse, where he was named the Big East Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore. High school and college career Melo arrived in the United States in 2008 and enrolled at Sagemont School in Weston, Florida. After graduating from Sagemont in 2010, Melo joined the Syracuse Orange men's basketball team. Joseph Edward Fabiszewski Jr. (October 4, 1951 - March 10, 2024), better known as "Joe Fab", was an American producer, writer and director. Career Fabiszewski has produced, written and directed films and has worked in video production, media and communications, event production and the live presentation of plays and music. He received the 2006 Christopher Award from The Christophers organization. Also in 2006, William M. Campbell, president of Discovery Networks U.S., presented Fabiszewski with the Discovery and Imagination Award. Georgie Fab (born Robert George Johnston, 31 July 1952) is a Canadian rock musician, guitarist, singer songwriter, and producer. In his recent work as a record producer, he has collaborated with Darcy Hepner ( of the band: Blood, Sweat and Tears), the King Biscuit Boy CD, "Biscuits 'n' Gravy", the Poison Arrows song "Puss n' Boots", and with Sylvain Sylvain of The New York Dolls. As well as over 20 other CDs, he most recently co-wrote and produced "Canadian Heroes" in dedication to the families of fallen members of the Canadian Armed Forces. The FAB-500 is a Soviet-designed general purpose air-dropped bomb with a high-explosive warhead, primarily used by the Russian Aerospace Forces, former Soviet republics and customer countries. Bolivian Air Force
The Bolivian Air Force (BAF; or 'FAB') is the air force of Bolivia and branch of the Bolivian Armed Forces.
