FON University
The American University of Europe-FON, or AUE-FON University is a private university with headquarters in Skopje, North Macedonia. Established in 2003, it is one of the first private universities in North Macedonia. The University reveived accreditation after the 2002 changes to the Higher Education Law, which liberalized the establishment of higher education institutions. In 2020, the university changed its name from FON University to American University of Europe - FON (AEU-FON). History The University is an autonomous, private, non-profit, scientific, and higher education institution, established in the year of 2003 as a Faculty of Social Sciences. Vlado Misajlovski
Vlado Misajlovski (born 21 January 1985) is a politician from North Macedonia. He served as Minister of Transport and Communications in the cabinet of Nikola Gruevski from 13 May 2015, until 31 May 2017. Early life Misajlovski studied in Skopje and obtained a BA in Diplomacy and international politics and an MA in European and international diplomacy and politics. He was director of the state agency for roads before being appointed as Minister. From 2009 to 2010, he was then advisor for foreign policy and international relations in the office of the President of the National Assembly. The Balkan Universities Network or Balkan Universities Association (BAUNAS) is an association of universities in Southeast Europe. In its present form the body was created after the breakup of the SFR Yugoslavia and the end of the Yugoslav Wars. Association facilitates the regional cooperation in the context of expansion of higher education sector caused by the establishment of new private and public universities (in addition to traditional schools with their existing institutional links).
