The route travels north through unincorporated Montgomery County, Texas, Montgomery County before entering the city of Montgomery, Texas, Montgomery, where it crosses Texas State Highway 105, SH 105. Pinehurst is a census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 5,195 at the 2020 census. Geography Pinehurst is located at (30.178614, -95.696303). According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 9.0 square miles (23.4 km2), all land.
