The fifth season of the ''FLCL'' anime series, titled ''FLCL: Shoegaze'', is produced by Production I.G and Adult Swim's production arm Williams Street. Grunge (sometimes referred to as the Seattle sound) is an alternative rock genre and subculture that emerged during the in the U.S. state of Washington, particularly in Seattle and Olympia, and other nearby cities.
