FK Tachov is a Czech football club located in the town of Tachov in the Plzeň Region. It currently plays in the Bohemian Football League, which is the third level of domestic football competition. In 2009, Tachov reached the second round of the 2009–10 Czech Cup, where they lost to 1. FC Karlovy Vary, 16–15 on penalties. Tachov
Tachov (; ) is a town in the Plzeň Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 14,000 inhabitants. It lies on the Mže River. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone. In association football, a penalty shoot-out (previously known as kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a tie (draw), draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as Overtime (sports)#Association football, extra time (if used) has expired.
