FK Slavoj Trebišov is a Slovakia, Slovak association football, football team, based in the town of Trebišov. The club was founded in 1912. Club played Doxxbet liga in season 2014–2015. But they are relegated in the first season in Doxxbet liga. At the present time season 2015–16 they are playing 3.rd Slovak League. They was 6th. in the season 2015–16. In season 2016/2017 club wins 3. Liga East. They were promoted to 2. Liga and they competed in 2. liga until 2023-24 season. Then despite fact that the club ensured place for the 2. liga 2024-25 season (as finished 13th), the club have decided to withdraw from the 2. liga due to financial issues. Ján Novák (footballer)
Ján Novák (born 6 March 1985) is a Slovak footballer who plays for Mladosť Kalša as a forward. Club career Novák became the 2007–08 Corgoň Liga top goalscorer, scoring 17 goals in 23 matches. In 2 consecutive games he scored 8 times. He scored three times against A.S. Roma in the 2009–10 UEFA Europa League play-off round whereby he showed great performance, evoking interest in Fulham. Novák had a trial at Birmingham City in December 2009 for 5 days with a view to completing a £2m move. However Birmingham City manager decided against signing Novák stating that he wanted to sign players that he knew in fear of wasting the club's transfer budget. He was injured at pre-season training camp in July 2010. He had to undergo surgery of the cruciate ligament and meniscus in August 2010. Jozef Karel (13 September 1922 in Humenné – 26 September 2005 in Košice) was a Slovak football player and coach.
