FK Radnik Surdulica
FK Radnik Surdulica () is a professional football club based in Surdulica, Serbia. They compete in the Serbian SuperLiga, the top tier of the national league system. History The club was founded as Surdulički sportski klub (SSK) in 1926 on the initiative of Gradimir Antić, a local shoemaker, who brought the first football ball to Surdulica. They stopped operating with the onset of World War II and Axis occupation of Serbia. In 1946, the club was reestablished as FK Polet on the initiative of Borivoje Milenković and Božidar Stanković. They subsequently changed their name to FK Hidrovlasina in 1950. Later the same year, the club merged with FK Molidben from Belo Polje and was named FK Radnik. In July 2008, the club merged with FK Železničar from Vranjska Banja, taking its spot in the Serbian League East. They spent the next five seasons in the third tier of Serbian football. Surdulica City Stadium
Surdulica City Stadium ( sr, Gradski stadion Surdulica), currently known as the Efbet Stadium for sponsorship reasons, is a football stadium in Surdulica, Serbia. It is the home ground of Serbian Superliga side FK Radnik Surdulica. The stadium has a capacity of 3,312 spectators. Stadium exists from 1955 and from the beginning serves as a home ground of FK Radnik Surdulica. In 1987 the southern stand was created. In 2015 FK Radnik was promoted for the first time in its history to Serbian Superliga and in the summer of 2015 stadium was modernized and expanded; new stands on east, north and west were erected, as well as floodlight masts. Renovation works costs around 40 million dinars and expanded stadium's capacity to 3,312 seats. On 23 May 2018 stadium hosted the final of Serbian Cup between FK Partizan and FK Mladost Lučani. The 2020–21 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Linglong Tire SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the fifteenth of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. Red Star were the defending champions from the previous season. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the 2019–20 Serbian SuperLiga season, no club has been relegated to the Serbian First League, and four clubs from the 2019–20 Serbian First League were promoted to the 2020–21 Serbian SuperLiga. The 2015–16 Serbian SuperLiga is the tenth season of the Serbian SuperLiga since its establishment. The season was started on 17 July 2015 and will be finished on 21 May 2016 with a matches of the last round of the play-offs. Partizan are the defending champions. The Serbian First League ( sr, Prva liga Srbije) is the second-highest football league in Serbia. The league is operated by the Serbian FA. Sixteen teams competed in this league for the 2013–14 season.
