FIFA Appeal Committee
The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (), more commonly known by its acronym FIFA ( ), is the international self-regulatory governing body of association football, beach soccer, and futsal. It was founded on 21 May 1904 to oversee international competition among the national associations of Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain (represented by Real Madrid CF), Sweden, and Switzerland. Headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland, its membership now comprises 211 national associations. These national associations must also be members of one of the six regional confederations: CAF (Africa), AFC (Asia), UEFA (Europe), CONCACAF (North & Central America and the Caribbean), OFC (Oceania), and CONMEBOL (South America). FIFA is a sports governing body that organizes football events all over the world. Robert Guérin
Robert Guérin (; born Clément Auguste Maurice Robert; 28 April 1876 – 19 March 1952) was a French journalist, and the List of Presidents of FIFA, first president and one of the founders of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). A journalist with ''Le Matin'' newspaper, Guérin was actively involved in Association football, football through his role as secretary of the Football Department of the Union des Sociétés Françaises de Sports Athlétiques, Union of French Athletic Sports Societies. He brought together representatives of the first seven member countries in Paris for the signing of FIFA's foundation act and agreement of the first FIFA statutes. On 23 May 1904, Guérin (then just 28) was elected president at the inaugural FIFA Congress and remained in his post for two years, during which time another eight associations came on board, including the Football Association.
