FC Zalău
Fotbal Club Zalău was a Romanian football team from Zalău, Sălaj County, founded in 2005 and dissolved in 2017 after encountered financial problems. History FC Zalău was founded in the summer of 2005, in order to continue Zalău's football legacy after the dissolution of Armătura Zalău. The founder and owner of the new team was Ioan Morar, a local businessman, as well as a former business partner of Liviu Olar Pop, the main sponsor of Armătura Zalău. The club was enrolled in the Liga IV – Sălaj County (4th tier). In their first season, under the guidance of Marius Pașca, Zălăuanii won the County Championship, but lost the promotion play-off against Universitatea 1919 Cluj-Napoca, the winner of Divizia D – Cluj County, 0–1 in a match played on neutral ground at the Municipal Stadium in Oradea. Stadionul Municipal (Zalău)
Stadionul Municipal is a multi-use stadium in Zalău, Romania. It is known between the residents of Zalău as Maracana of Zilah used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home ground of SCM Zalău or marathons.The stadium was renovated between 2017 and 2018, period in which the second stand (a metallic one) was demolished.The stadium is the only major stadium in Zalău(Zilah)and is the biggest in Sălaj county. Stadionul CUG
Stadionul CUG, formerly known as Baza Sportivă CUG, is a multi-use stadium in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. The stadium holds 3,000 people and is used mostly for CFR Cluj's youth squads matches and trainings. In the past the stadium was also used for CFR II Cluj matches and for some friendly matches of CFR Cluj. Inaugurated in the early 1970s as a modern sports base, the complex stretched over an area of 65,669 square meters and included a football stadium, a clay football field, an artificial turf football field, a tennis and a handball court. The sports base was the property of CUG (Combinatul de Utilaj Greu - Heavy Machinery Factory), a name with which the base has remained until today.
