Football Club Viktoriya Sumy ( uk, Футбольний клуб «Вікторія» Суми) is a Ukrainian professional football club based in Sumy. The club competes in the Ukrainian First League, the second division of Ukrainian football. Founded in 2015 as Football Club Viktoriya Mykolaivka, the club merged with FC Alians Lypova Dolyna in 2022 and subsequently relocated from Arena Viktoriya in Mykolaivka to Yuvileiny Stadium in Sumy. History The club was created in 2015 in town of Zhovtneve (today Mykolaivka). From its establishment to 2021 the club was coached by Artem Radionov, a footballer out of Sumy, who spent most of his career playing for teams from the city of Sumy as well as the region. The club returned to professional competitions in 2023 due to the 2022 Russian aggression against Ukraine. Yuvileiny Stadium
Yuvileiny Stadium is a football stadium in Sumy, Ukraine, home grounds to both Sumy and Alliance. The building was put into operation on September 20, 2001. The stadium has a total capacity of 25,830 spectators. The stadium has hosted numerous top-tier matches in the Ukrainian Super Cup and Ukrainian Cup. Otherwise, the stadium hosts most of Alliance's matches in the Ukrainian First League as well as home matches for Sumy. The stadium's first match held an attendance record of about 29,300 spectators when Spartak Sumy played Naftovyk Okhtyrka in 2003. Ukrainian Amateur Football Championship ( uk, Чемпіонат України з футболу серед аматорів) is an annual association football competition in Ukraine among amateur teams. The competition is administered by the Ukrainian Association of Amateur Football (AAFU). The championship replaced the Soviet competitions among collectives of physical culture (KFK). The Ukrainian Amateur Cup ( uk, Кубок України з футболу серед аматорських команд) or AAFU Cup ( uk, Кубок ААФУ) is a national cup competition in Ukraine for amateur clubs. The nationwide competition among amateur teams in cup format (Olympic system) was revived in the 1996–97 season and since 2008 the winner receives the right to progress to the Ukrainian Cup which serves professional clubs. Format The Cup is intended to be organised between the Cup holders of the regional tournaments, but in reality it is an optional invitational tournament among teams that are delegated by selected regions ( oblasts of Ukraine and autonomous republic of Crimea).
