FC Tobol () is a Kazakhstan, Kazakh professional association football, football club based at the Kostanay Central Stadium, Central Stadium in Kostanay. They have been members of the Kazakhstan Premier League since its foundation in 1992. In 2007 they won 2007 UEFA Intertoto Cup, UEFA Intertoto Cup. They won the Kazakhstan Premier League in 2010, and finished no lower than fourth place between the 2002 and 2010 seasons. The Kazakhstan Professional Football League (, ''Qazaqstan Premier Ligasy''), commonly referred to as the Kazakh Premier League or simply the Premier League, is a professional association football league in Kazakhstan and the highest level of the Football in Kazakhstan, Kazakh football league system. The league is controlled by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan and was set up in 1992. Kostanay Central Stadium
Kostanay Central Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Kostanay, Kazakhstan. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Tobol. History The soccer arena has been in operation since 1964. The first match was played on May 11, 1967. In 2002 German technology was applied to renew the surface of the soccer field and an automatic irrigation system was installed. For electric lighting, the main arena was equipped with four special poles. In order to meet UEFA standards, the stadium was equipped with special lighting in 2008. The 1992 Kazakhstan Top Division was the inaugural season of the Top Division, now called the Kazakhstan Premier League, the highest football league competition in Kazakhstan. League format Originally planned 25 teams in total. But withdrawal of Metallurg after couple of games and which results were annulled cut Group A one team fewer. It was split into two stages. In first stage two groups of 11 and 13 teams were formed. In second stage the best seven teams of each group joined together to play in a final group for positions 1 to 14. The rest of the teams played in a group for positions 15 to 24. Teams played against each other on home-away basis in their groups. Final standings of teams did not count the results of the first stage. The Kazakhstan Cup is the main Single-elimination tournament, knockout cup competition in Kazakhstan Football (soccer), football, run by the Football Federation of Kazakhstan. Milan Milanović (; born 10 January 1963) is a Serbian football manager and former player. Playing career After coming through the youth system of Partizan, Milanović played for Zemun in the Yugoslav Second League. He later spent multiple years in Germany, playing for five clubs in the lower leagues. In 1997, Milanović moved to the Faroe Islands and served as player-manager of VB for two seasons. Managerial career After returning to his homeland, Milanović was manager of Zemun in the First League of FR Yugoslavia. He later served as an assistant to Boško Đurovski at Rad, before replacing him in May 2003.
