FC Stade Nyonnais
FC Stade Nyonnais is an association football club based in the town of Nyon, Switzerland. The team currently competes in the Swiss Challenge League, Challenge League, the second tier of the Swiss football league system and plays its home matches at Colovray Sports Centre, Stade de Colovray, where it has been since 1991. Founded in 1905, it is nicknamed the "jaune et noir" (which translates to "yellow and black") and affiliated to the Vaud Cantonal Football Association. History FC Stade Nyonnais was founded in 1905 by then-teenagers Oscar Aeby, Edmond Delay, Emile Aeby and Pierre Robin as ''Bluet''. Centre Sportif De Colovray Nyon
Centre Sportif de Colovray Nyon is where FC Stade Nyonnais play their home association football, football and rugby football, rugby games. The site is opposite the UEFA headquarters. The centre has six pitches for different sports and hosts a variety of activities, football, rugby and athletics. The stadium has 860 seats and the rest is standing places. Events In 2008, for the UEFA Euro 2008, Turkey had their base camp at this ground. In June 2009, the ground hosted the 2009 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship, with Germany and Spain reaching the final. Adriano De Pierro
Adriano De Pierro (born 11 January 1991) is a Swiss professional footballer who plays for Stade Nyonnais. Career De Pierro grew up in the small town of Échandens in Suisse Romande and initially began his career with local club Forward Morges before a move to the academy of FC Lausanne-Sport. Eventually he earned a big move to Swiss Super League side BSC Young Boys in 2009, going on to feature for the reserves and appearing several times for the first-team during his first two years with the club. Looking to gain more playing time, De Pierro went on loan to second division club FC Stade Nyonnais for the duration of the 2011–12 season. The Promotion League, named the Hoval Promotion League for sponsorship reasons, is the third tier of the Swiss football league system. Eighteen clubs compete in the league, playing each other twice over course of the season. The 2011–12 Swiss Challenge League was the ninth season of the Swiss Challenge League, the second tier of the Swiss football league pyramid. It began on 22 July 2011 and ended on 23 May 2012. The champions of this season, St. Gallen, earned promotion to the 2012–13 Super League. The runners-up Aarau lost the promotion/relegation playoff against the 9th-placed team of the 2011–12 Super League, FC Sion.
