The Fútbol Club Politécnico, commonly known as Poli, is a Mexican football club based in Mexico City. The club was founded in 2013, and currently plays in Group IV of Liga TDP. History First Team On September 4, 1954, the Second Division of Mexico accepted the entry of two new teams based in Mexico City: IPN and UNAM, both teams played at Estadio Olímpico Universitario. In 1955, the IPN team changed its ground to Parque Asturias.The Club played its 1st official professional match on September 12 1954 against C.D. Venustiano Carranza, Mexico City
Venustiano Carranza is a borough (''demarcación territorial'') in Mexico City, Mexico. Venustiano Carranza extends from the far eastern portion of the historic center of Mexico City eastward to the Peñón de los Baños and the border dividing the then Federal District from the State of Mexico. Parque Asturias
Parque Asturias was a multi-use stadium in Mexico City, Mexico. It was initially used as the stadium of Asturias F.C. and Atlante F.C. matches. It was replaced by Estadio Azteca in 1966. The Serie B is a Mexican association football league. Fifteen teams compete in one group. Since the 2024–25 season, it is two tournament per season. Liga MX, also known as Liga BBVA MX for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Mexico and the highest level of the Mexican football league system. Formerly known as Liga Mayor (1943–1949) and also as Primera División de México (1949–2012), it has 18 participating clubs, with each season divided into two short tournaments, ''Apertura'' from July to December and ''Clausura'' from January to May. The Serie A has 38 teams (5 Liga de Expansión MX Reserve Teams and 33 Serie A Teams) divided into three groups. For the 2024–25 season, it will be a return of a short tournament format (Apertura & Clausura) consisting of 11 group matches and 3 inter-group matches (14 total) played home & away and the liguilla. Club Atlético Valladolid is a Mexican football club that plays in the Tercera División de México. The club is based in Morelia, Michoacán and was founded in 1979. History The club was founded for the first time in 1959, to compete in the Second Division, taking advantage of the fact that Club Deportivo Morelia had been promoted to the First Division.
