FC PMC Pastavy was football club based in Postavy, Vitebsk Oblast. History The club was founded in 2006 as a farm club of MTZ-RIPO Minsk and an outfit for local players. PMC Postavy played two seasons in Belarusian Second League Belarusian Second League is the third tier of professional football in Belarus. It was established in 1992. History and format A strict number of teams and competition format are not defined for the league. Before the start of each season the for ..., after which they were promoted to the First League. The First League debut was unsuccessful, as the club finished on the last (14th) place and got relegated. At the end of the season the partnership with MTZ ended and the senior team of PMC was disbanded. Since 2009 PMC Postavy focused on developing youth players and became a football academy. The Belarusian First League is the second tier of professional football in Belarus. It was created in 1992, following the Belarusian independence. History and format The typical format of the league involves 16 clubs playing a double round-robin tournament over 30 matchdays (with the exception of shortened 1992 and 1995 seasons, which were a single round-robin tournaments). FC Partizan Minsk ( be, ФК Партызан Мінск) was a Belarusian football club based in Minsk. History The club was founded as MTZ-RIPO Minsk in 2002 as a merger of two Minsk teams from the Second League ( Traktor Minsk, a club with a 55-year history, and Trudovye Rezervy-RIPO Minsk, a football academy-based team which only spent one season in the Second League). The merge allowed the new team to have its own football school to recruit young players from as well as financial supply from the Minsk Tractor Works, the main sponsor of Traktor Minsk.
