FC Metz Feminines (commonly known as FC Metz or Metz) is a French football club based in Metz, Lorraine which plays in the Seconde Ligue. The club is the women's side of the French football club of the same name and was founded in 1974. Seconde Ligue
The Seconde Ligue ( ) is a professional sports, professional women's association football league at the second level of the French football league system, and is run by the ''Ligue féminine de football professionnel'' (LFFP). Its annual competition features twelve teams playing two series of Round-robin tournament, round-robin matches from September to June. At the end of each season, the top two teams are promotion and relegation, promoted to the top-level Première Ligue, while the bottom two teams are relegated to the third-tier, Semi-professional sports, semi-professional Division 3 Féminine. ''Manon'' () is an ''opéra comique'' in five acts by Jules Massenet to a French libretto by Henri Meilhac and Philippe Gille, based on the 1731 novel '' L'histoire du chevalier des Grieux et de Manon Lescaut'' by the Abbé Prévost. It was first performed at the Opéra-Comique in Paris on 19 January 1884, with sets designed by Eugène Carpezat (act 1), Auguste Alfred Rubé and Philippe Chaperon (acts 2 and 3), and Jean-Baptiste Lavastre (act 4).
